A gay rom-com for every body

Picture
Guy is a gay millennial looking for love... Guy is fat, nerdy and shy... Guy feels like he doesn’t fit in to the gay community.

But when a rejection on Grindr pushes Guy to make terrible life choices, he is forced to confront his inner demons, all the while pushing away everyone close to him. With 12 heart-pounding electronic-pop anthems, this millennial odyssey through bingeing, gyming, prejudice, hook ups, beauty standards, and stolen identity is a much-needed reminder that the only person you can be is yourself.

@guythemusical Seriously, everything about this show is perfect. Don't miss your chance to see it! Best cast you could wish for, catchy, varied songs and one hell of a choreography. Refreshingly different and diverse. Kind of hoping for fanfiction now.

Hyde's idiosyncratic techno-pop score is excellent... haunting ballads are effortlessly fused with original pop anthems to create a genuinely contemporary score that's rich in its detail and intricate in its rhythms.
The Stage

These hardy and inventive creatives... give us something special. [Leo&Hyde] could be writing for the pop industry and maybe very soon they will be.
British Theatre

A monumental piece with an imperative message... this musical could go all the way.
Blackstar

A theatrical saga of love and discovery... a masterclass in creating theatrical mood and ambience with music. Some of these songs sound and feel like classics.
