leo&hyde is a multi-award-winning musical theatre partnership, based in Manchester. We use current music to tell stories that make sense of technology in modern life. Our work has been performed at The Lowry, Hope Mill Theatre, The Arcola, Birmingham Old Rep, Theatre by the Lake, amongst other venues. We were on the Musical Theatre Network’s BEAM 2018-9 Programme at the Royal Exchange Theatre.
The company was set up in 2016, led by Cumbrian composer Stephen Hyde and Mancunian writer / producer Leo Mercer. In 2018 we were joined by Lancastrian general manager Daniel Mawson.
